A new firm and a new way of thinking, The Finance Brokers was established as a residential lending, commercial finance and advisory firm, seeing the need for personal and business owners to get value from their financing and borrowing arrangements.
As non-traditional mortgage brokers, we are not tied to one lender, and will find the best option for you.
For business owners, The Finance Brokers was established as we saw a gap between traditional finance brokerage services and business advisory, all too often the broker wouldn’t talk to the advisors throughout the lending process. As part of a commercial advisory firm, we assist you in optimising your financial strategies and securing the best financial outcomes for your business. No matter your business stage—whether you’re thriving, just starting out, or in need of a helping hand—we’re here to help.

Our Team
One of the founding partners of the firm, Steve recently joined from BOQ. Steve has over 20 year in commercial lending, residential lending and financial planning and bring a wealth of experience to the team. Steve enjoys a cycle, car repairs and exploring the world in the back of his combi van.
Principal Consultant
Pete specialises in rural advisory, cash flow and business planning and has recently joined The Finance Brokers as a Principal Consultant. Father to three children and often found on the tennis court or coaching kids sport, Pete is a stalwart of the Young community.
Mortgage Specialist
Chase joined us from a large bank lender. Coming from a large lending background Chase understands the lending process from your first home to complex multi-asset refinances and can navigate you through the process. Chase enjoys Gaming, beach with his two boys, travel, gym, NRL, Test Cricket.
Generally the first person you will speak to, James is our business development manager and core to understanding your financial position, your needs and how we can help. James has a passion for finding solutions to the most difficult problems. James has a passion for fitness, the outdoors and has started enjoying amateur paleontology.
Process
We offer a free first meeting. We ask a few questions prior to make the most out of this meeting and will introduce you to the team members you will be working with.
Prior to our first engagement we will access your financial position, this helps us better support you. We will quote to complete our work.
